For 2015, Dickies has introduced another 10 new styles of safety footwear and added more colours to the existing range, with new lines in the PU/rubber sole and and an extended range to offer more S3 footwear.

Wasi Ullah, buyer at Dickies commented: “Since the expansion of the Dickies brand to the oil and gas market, the Detroit boot has been introduced. This is a high-end boot with an internal waterproof membrane and waterproof YKK side zip. It also has a 200 gram thinsulate lining for cold insulation.  This is made with a composite toe and non-metal midsole with a moulded PU scuff cap. The outsole is made with PU/rubber, which is heat resistant to 300 degrees.”
